Change MX records in DNS to pointing my external domain? Did you mean that I create an MX record and pointing out to my static IP?

Re: Networking issue in our network!

Hi RicklesP, Well we’re using non-managed switches and its brand is tp-link. We have 4 buildings and each building has its main switch and these switches are directly connected to other switches via crossover cable. Our main office internal communication is fine but when i plug other’s building switch wire then it starts crumbling and ping starts breaking and sometime it even stops communication all over including out main office. Is there any backbone wire issue or some devices are malfunctioning? I’ll be waiting for your reply… Well my I’m running IPV4 and address is 10.10.1.0/24. Is there any way to identify any switch or devices that are malfunctioning?

    Re: Windows 7 ping issue…

Thanks experts but I found solution by my own. As you know my firewall service didn’t start and having error code 0x80070437, it was the issue of account i guess.. I simply went to windows firewall service then its log on tab and enter “Local Service” in account details, That’s it!! It started like a rocket :) Thanks for your precious time experts.

    Re: Windows 7 ping issue…

Haha RecklesP same thought I did experience and went through these steps but it is disabled and stopped but one thing is suspicious that when I try to enable and try to start the service then it gives an error that could not start the service. I guess firewall service is disable as it shows. Some other help and tips RecklesP???

    Re: Windows 7 ping issue…

As I said there’s no AV installed and builtin firewall is disabled as I mentioned. None of a single 3rd party firewall installed. Can any Windows update create an issue? Its just a thought. Ping is quite normal thing and my server shows systems presence in network places but can’t ping unfortunately :(

I don’t want to hide all drives my friend. I want to hide specific drives like X:, Y:, Z:. We did have this option in server 2003 by customizing adm files. So do we have this kinda option in server 2008?

Re: How to Verify Ethernet Switch is working properly…?

L4ndy, well We’re running ACCA SNA Server for CBE examination and the examiner is also provided by ACCA to take online examination. When all users login simoultaneously then it gives time out error but if I log them one by one then everything is fine. One more thing I would like to add is that after logging the exam process goes smooth with no network issue, That’s why I think there is no problem with the network if there was a problem then the 3hrs exam would have some network issue but it is not the case. All I have the problem is Simoultaneously login issue.
