tbh, I would have more confidence in a router I am in control of, rather than an external one, I presume supplied and configured by an ISP, where I may not have full control.

Of course that may not be the scenario here, but is the most likely reason for multiple layers of routers.

I agree, but in this case the Linksys network is for a “smart home system” (Control 4) that by definition needs to work under this structure.

    Yup!
But forward EVERYTHING from the Rotal to the Linksys to save you having to do 2 forwards each time you open a new port

So I will put 10.0.0.137 on dmz, correct ?

Every router has two sides — an inside and an outside

    Your Linksys is:
    Inside: 192.168.2.x network
    Outside: 10.0.0.x network

    Rotal:
    Inside: 10.0.0x network
Outside: Public IP address assigned by ISP

As long as the Rotal forwards everything to the linksys, it should all work fine

    Thanks Ossian,
Meaning that I need to portforward from Rotal to Linksys 10.0.0.137 and do the same on Linksys to the network device 192.168.x and it should work fine ?

Tested just now (I have a crapware ADSL router I use as a modem, then a decent ethernet router behind that) and it works fine, at least on my kit.

Thanks for replying, but what about the ip domain and subnet mask, as I wrote the Rotal is in a different ip domain then the linksys, would it work eventhough ?

    Very simple but odd.
I’m treating hundreds of pcs and this is the first time that I encountered it.
Usually when you double click the upper blue frame to get full screen it does not covers low bar if it is not on auto hide.
    In this case it covers.
If you still doesn’t get the point I will add some screen shots to make it clearer.

So I downloaded the tool, execute it and found through it some registry entries and deleted it but the annoying message didn’t gone so I looked manually for some more registry entries for OKIPAGE (case sensitive) and found some more and delete and the annoying message has been demolished.

    Anyway Sorin,

    Thanks Yuval,

Nothing help, I format and reinstall Windows.

This is always an issue that comes up when there is a serious damage in windows system files, waste many hours on trying to fix it or just format and reinstall windows on less time.

I tried to execute a dos based “finansit” through pcanyware from several versions and also tried diffrent remote aps like vnc ect, and I was unable to see a proper screen view, just lines all over. I talked to several experts coming to the conclusion that there is nothing really that can be done. I hope that this is not your case. Please let us know for any solution.

It disable the annoying baloon tips over network facilities and not from the printer condition and hard drives capacity which is exactly what I wanted to accomplish.
It is good to have you guys on Petri.
