Re: Help Please! Web Base Domain user password management using IIS

@ biggles77 and tehcamel – I’m sorry to disappoint guys, but as I was saying we have an Active Directory (LDAP) Integrated messaging system.. Most of the VIP are using their personal laptop and I can’t force them to join their computers to domain so they can log-on and change their password..

Now, If I have a web-base active directory domain user password change utility, that will be a very big help for these users who do not log on to domain.. because their purpose is just to log on to our internal messaging..

I was just thinking of implementing IIS.. As far as I know IIS supports a web-base domain password change… Have you guys tried using this without MS exchange in your production??…..

@ gforceindustries – thanks a lot for the advice

@ Ossian – no they can’t RDP to my server.

They were accessing mail via lotus notes client. (kinda old school ) and it’s not AD integrated.. The messaging was an open source server (openfire) binded to AD, with mysql database installed.

quest password manager is good, but what about IIS? how can it work for me?

Actually these users are VIP’s. I’ve set their passwords to never expire. They are using our internal messaging which is active directory integrated…. maybe that’s why… :D

    Simple as that
Thanks.

But this still has to be added in each computer separately? or where am I supposed to run this script? Sorry for dumb questions:)
route 192.168.0.0 mask 255.255.255.0 192.168.100.1 /p
Re: Help needed using "route -p add xxx.xxx.xxx.." in Command prompt

thanks both of you. I guess easiest way for me is to add it to the gateway as i’m dumb in scripting. Or is there any scripting library where I can find an example of it?
