Re: How to properly move home folders?
Yeap, i used the same guide, more specifically i used the Xcopy command onpage 7 and i worked beautifully.
Xcopy C:”Users Shared Folders” D:”Users Shared Folders” /e /o /d /h /v /c>>C:Copyresults.txt
This one moves the share from the default location on C to the D drive without changing the permissions.
Re: New RDP Client
Yeah , i thought about that, since you installed it manually and not as an update. How about keeping this new version and instead just modify the way it behaves? Here is what I found following this thread.
Add this two lines to your .rdp file (usually saved under my documents)
prompt for credentials:i:0
To modify the file you can just change the extension to .txt and add the two lines and when you are done with the changes change the extension back to .rdp
Note:you might already have the prompt for credential entry so if that is the case just add the enablecredsspsupport:i:0 entry.
Re: Imaging server 2003 – Best program
I use Acronis to image my servers right after the installation of all updates, and before i assign any roles to them, after that i use Veritas to back up system state and AD related data.
Re: DNS Problem – going to my websiteYoelr;91136 wrote:hi,

what shoul i do?
If i am not mistaking you need to create an A record in your DNS server pointing to the internal IP address of the server hosting your site (e. g. 192.168.x.x)
Re: Login Pop Up on SBS 2003 Client Computer
Maybe you have a persistent mapping from one of the clients that still has an old password. I has happened to me before because i forgot to uncheck the option to reconnect at logon.
Re: Network/Internet Speed
I don’t know of any configuration that downgrades/upgrades your network speed. What’s the network configuration on the server? Are you running a firewall on the server? How are the XP machines connecting to the server? I would look into those questions first.
