I am setting up a test environment with 3 vms, 1DC, 1member server, and 1 client. Trying to implement a basic VPN solution. The member server has 2 network adapters. All the machines are set up on VMnet 2 in the 192.168.10.0/24 range. I am gonna join the Svr1 and Cli1 to the domain. Then configure Svr1 as a network policy server implementing vpn. My caveat is setting up the second nic on svr1 with a different ip address to act as the public interface while having it remain in vmnet2. So, after joining cli1 to the domain, I can change the ip of cli1 to match the public, set it up as a vpn client and connect without having to change from vmnet2 also. Can this be done?
Thanks in advance.
