I understand there is no direct/coexistance upgrade path from Exchange 2007 to Exchange 2016. Therefor a migration to Exchange 2016 will require(without 3rd party tools) a two hop upgrade scenario. I’ve looked at the Microsoft Deployment Assistant and selected Exchange 2016 on-premises and I see the Upgrade from Exchange 2013 and Upgrade from Exchange 2010 and Exchange 2013 is at a state of “COMING SOON”
I’m currently using SBS 2008(Exchange2007) so need to perform a two hop upgrade. Am I OK to upgrade to Exchange 2010 first, then migrate to Exchange 2016. Does anyone see any issue with going to Exchange 2010 first instead of Exchange 2013?
