Created a new External Forest Trust (Transitive) to our Parent company, both went through the wizard without issue.

Issue is I can see and add objects from their side but they cannot ours. In their system event log they observe

A warning event occurred. EventID: 0x0000A000
    Time Generated: 09/12/2017 08:46:31
    Event String:

The Security System detected an authentication error for the server ……. The failure code from authentication protocol Kerberos was “The name or SID of the domain specified is inconsistent with the trust information for that domain.

We observe in our system event log.

The Security System detected an authentication error for the server ……. The failure code from authentication protocol Kerberos was “The name or SID of the domain specified is inconsistent with the trust information for that domain.
    (0xc000019b)”.

We’ve deleted the trusts, rebooted our PDC’s (both sides) but not all the DC’s and re-created the trusts and the same thing.

We have another External Non Transitive Trust setup with our Sister company and it’s fine.
Parent company also has the same Forest Trust setup and working with Sister company.

Any suggestions because I’ve found a book on this error.

    Thanks

I am in the same boat. On the Domain 1, we can not see objects in domain 2. Event ID 40960. The Security System detected an authentication error for the server ldap/Atlanta.unifiedav.com/[email protected] The failure code from authentication protocol Kerberos was “The name or SID of the domain specified is inconsistent with the trust information for that domain.
(0xc000019b)”. Domain 2 does not have that issue. Were you able to fix your issue?
