    Hi,

Is it possible to disable /enable ipv6 and ipv4 protocols via command line in server 2003.
    In server 2008 i have “netsh interface ipv6/ipv4 install/uninstall”
(it’s a little bit inconvenient way because requires logout but works)
but there are no such option in 2003 for ipv4.

devcon.exe and cnic.exe also have no such options…

    ~regards.

    Yep,
But unfortunetly netsh is pretty different on 2003 and 2008.
Here are commands for netsh interface ip on 2003:

    Commands in this context:
    ? – Displays a list of commands.
add – Adds a configuration entry to a table.
delete – Deletes a configuration entry from a table.
dump – Displays a configuration script.
help – Displays a list of commands.
reset – Resets TCP/IP and related components to a clean state.
    set – Sets configuration information.
    show – Displays information.

(there are no uninstall and install options)

And this is netsh interface ipv4 on 2008:

    C:Usersi041912>netsh interface ipv4

    The following commands are available:

    Commands in this context:
    ? – Displays a list of commands.
add – Adds a configuration entry to a table.
delete – Deletes a configuration entry from a table.
dump – Displays a configuration script.
help – Displays a list of commands.
install – Install the IP protocol.
reset – Reset the IP configurations.
    set – Sets configuration information.
    show – Displays information.
uninstall – Uninstall the IP protocol.

It’s a pain in the ass to uninstall TCP/IP protocol in win 2003…
