    Hi Guys,

    First post, so if this question has been asked and answered elsewhere just point me to that location..

    If i use the swing migration process to move from 2003SBS to 2011SBS can i change my domain name and dc name ?

    Assuming your using the standard MS tool set, the domain name is kept but you choose the name of your new destination server during the migration process.

    All the AD roles are transferred to the target SBS2011 during the initial phase of the migration.

    Assuming you’re referring to Jeff Middleton’s Swing Migration. The documentation says it’s not recommended and hasn’t been tested.
