    Hello Experts,
It is my new post here,
    In our network environment,
We have a software that has 5 license limited.
But we installed those software onto 8 machines.
If those software using all 8 machines only one time, three will be charged.
    My Questions:
How we know if 6th machine attempt to open the software?
How we know which machine is opening that software?
5 machines is opening software, if the 6th machine attempting to opening it, it will be banned.

Our Network has Windows Server 2008 R2 as Primary DNS and File Server

    Thank you so much

What is the software, and does it have any built in usage monitoring features? Windows does not have any easy ways of monitoring concurrent usage

If you have it available, AppV will (IIRC) allow you to restrict how many concurrent users a virtualised app can have, but this is sledgehammer and nut territory – I would approach the application developers to see if they have a solution first
