    Hi,
In several PCs in the network I have found a snmp folder in the directory c:windowssystem32WEBM. All the clients are Windows XP SP3 profesional. Until I know this folder isn´t installed by default with Windows XP and we don’t use snmp. Why are these folders there? Is necessary to install something to have these folders?. These folders are empty.
    Best regards.

    Re: SNMP Folder

It is the default location for MIBs. I know there are several NIC drivers that will install WMI SNMP support. So it could be the NIC driver install that created the folder… not sure though.

Oh, I assume you mean wbem and not webm.
