Have been digging the net for that for quite a while and only found scripts using WMI on XP. The problem is that W2K’s WMI provider does not give this functionality. I know that I can achive the same result by directly writing appropriate registry values, but I would rather do that using some kind of API. Any pointers, folks ? TIA benno_06Member February 22, 2006 at 10:03 am #253444 Re: SNMP community strings anyone ? We’ve set them here using Group Policies, not sure what your setup is but that worked for me.
