    Good Afternoon,

    I have a server 2008 at my office and about at wit end on the issue. The server is used a rdp server and 5 of us work on it remotely all day. Randomly the server will drop all network connections and the network just seems to quit working. Local only. No internet or anything. I have tried resetting router to see if that is it but that is working just fine.

    When I go to the server it working but no network or internet just a local only connection. Cant communicate with the router or anything. I tried stopping the network connections service (netman) but it will not stop even a taskkill wont stop it until I reboot. I have no event id or errors or anything.

    static IP is used.

    Any clue anyone or has anyone ran across this?

    Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection?
    What is the switch doing when this happens?
    Are you working on the Server as a workstation? (I tried stopping the network connections service (netman) but it will not stop even a taskkill wont stop it until I reboot)

    Any correlations in the event logs at time of disconnection to give you a clue as to why it might be happening?
