Does SBS2008 ask you for a new install or migration after the initial setup like SBS2011 does or does it just keep you wondering until the end??! cruachanParticipant September 26, 2015 at 6:58 am #330830 You can do it as a migration using an answer file, same as going from 2003 to 2008 or 2011. Microsoft have a migration guide for this scenario too. http://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=11592 joeqwertyModerator September 26, 2015 at 9:33 am #304461 If you’re simply moving SBS to new hardware and not migrating to a new domain then I might suggest a bare metal restore. You can read about it here – http://blogs.technet.com/b/sbs/archive/2010/06/11/how-to-perform-a-bare-metal-restore-on-small-business-server-2008.aspx LSainsburyMember September 26, 2015 at 3:22 pm #308882 cruachan;n493266 wrote: You can do it as a migration using an answer file, same as going from 2003 to 2008 or 2011.
