Windows firewall is not enable on the client machines all research so far on the net have not yielded any success How does once force this RPC service to run remotely from a command line or what is it I am missing ? Thanks Confuseis tehcamelModerator November 23, 2017 at 10:39 pm #360136 Hey, do you mean RPCSS ? Most everything depends on RPC, so if remote is your only option, I’m not sure if you can do much about it… I’ve even had problems with taskkill /s \bla /f /pid 4 to kill SYSTEM process and force shutdowns RemsModerator January 11, 2018 at 6:46 am #228478 You should be able to start the RPC service remotely via Computer Management > Connect to another computer … > Services But if you get the ‘RPC Server Unavailable’ Error this can caused by, “File and Printer Sharing” is disabled Remote Administration is disabled Remote Computer is not reachable Author Posts Viewing 3 posts - 1 through 3 (of 3 total) You must be logged in to reply to this topic.
