Exchange server damaged and fresh installation has done . How to remount the old.edb database and connect the users to the mailbox’s ? OssianModerator April 3, 2018 at 5:05 am #191966 According to my friend, Mr :google: (https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=exchange+2007+recover+database+from+backup&sourceid=ie7&rls=com.microsoft:en-GB:IE-Address&ie=&oe=&gfe_rd=cr&dcr=0&ei=V17DWsu4De-BtgfA5qWoCw) you look into a recovery database. This assumes that when you did the fresh installation you did it “properly” and did a repair install using the same computer account. If you didn’t, all bets are off mkarmelMember April 3, 2018 at 6:31 am #391745 Same computer account (computer name , admin password ) install new exchange server error i got: Error restoring the mailbox (/O=HANI/OU=EXCHANGE ADMINISTRATIVE GROUP (FYDIBOHF23SPDLT)/CN=RECIPIENTS/CN=USER6). Error message is: Database is mandatory on UserMailbox.. OssianModerator April 3, 2018 at 8:13 am #191968 Did you install Exchange using the (IIRC) /recoversever switch? If not, it doesn’t matter if the machine name is the same, it is not necessarily the same exchange server Have you tried https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa998340(v=exchg.80).aspx? mkarmelMember April 4, 2018 at 2:02 am #391746 How to restore mailbox database .edb file after /RecoverServer ? How to restore mailbox database .edb file if original database destroyed ?
