I purchased a workstation from my employer when I retired. It was a member of a domain but never removed from that domain. One of the group policies is to disable wifi. How can I get rid off all the old policies when there is no access to a DC and there are no domain accounts on the workstation. It is intended for my home and cannot access the internet without wifi.

If the PC still thinks it’s a domain member, and you are certain you know the local machine admin account name & password, remove it from the domain. When you divorce form a domain, the policies enforced from that domain are removed. You should then be able to make whatever changes you need. Removing from the domain does NOT require connection to that domain, it only needs the local admin creds, whether any networking is functional or not.

This is a double post from the Windows 10 forums.
