I would like to know the recommended sequence. Should we upgrade the Domain controllers first and then upgrade Exchange? or does the sequence not matter? Best regards and Happy New Year! OssianModerator December 29, 2017 at 11:19 am #191901 I don’t think the order for DCs / Exchange matters, but with Exchange 2007 (IIRC) it was do the mailbox role last – CAS and HT first When you say “upgrade” do you mean “patch” or do you mean upgrade to a new version – if so, what? chbardtMember January 3, 2018 at 5:18 am #252182 The DC’s would go up to Server 2012 R2 and the Exchange would be migrated to Exchange 2013.
