Our 2003 server crashed and cannot be brought to live. I was wondering how do I raise the DFL and FFL since 2003 is our main DC. Hope anyone can advice wullieb1Moderator May 2, 2019 at 10:00 pm #616801 You’ll need to do a metadata cleanup, seize the roles (your 2003 DC must never be brought online) and then you can Raise the DFL and FFL. You can do that by following this, https://www.petri.com/raising-windows-server-2008-active-directory-domain-and-forest-functional-levels Just as a side note i wouldn’t attempt this until you are 100% happy that your AD structure is working correctly and replication, et al is all working correctly.
