    Hi,

Currently we are giving internet access to computers (static ip) based on ip address by checking whether antivirus is installed and updated. Now, after migrating to domain set up, we are now giving internet access based on users instead of previous static ip set up. This new internet access set up will help users to login to any computers and access internet based on the permission set for their username. But, this set up will not help us to verify whether the machine is installed and updated with antivirus. How can we control this , ie, user based internet access only to antivirus installed and updated computers.

    Regards,
    Anishk

Look into Network Access Protection, available from Server 2008 upwards.
Clients are put into areas depending on their “health status”, including AV

Only problem is it must be an AV application that Microsoft recognise
