    Hi guys,

I have a new installation of server 2012 and exchange 2016.
I have configured exchange and also installed a UCC SSL certificate on the server.
I have run exchange connectivity test and it comes back successful.

I have set up an email account on iphone using activesync and autodiscover and this worked.

However, when I try to set up in outlook it fails – I put in email and password and it prompts for credentials and then says it cannot connect, I get this error message:

outlook cannot logon. verify you are connected to the network and are using the proper server and mailbox name

I have tried connecting from outlook 2016 and from outlook 2010 – both have the same issue.

    Anyone have any ideas?

Hi guys, dont worry I sorted it now – did not realise there is apparently something new to exchange 2016 (I think) called mapi over http?
Anyway, there was a URI that had to be configured for that to work –
