I am able to connect the server through VMware Infrastruture Client, and can see the VM. It also allows to power on the machine, but when try to connect via console it shows the following message: “Cannot connect to host xxxx: No connection could made because the target machine actively refused it” I have tried ti restart the server, the management service with no successs. Since I am new administrating Vmware server ESX, do not know where to start troubleshooting the problem. Any help will be appreciated. Steps 1 to 4 are successfully tested. Also checked the additional information. Trying to know how to access command line console to ESX server, since it comes only with web GUI and not able to execute commands.
