a) the filter button on the ribbon or the “type to filter” above the list?
b) Is it in all sections (mail, calendar…)?
c) Is outlook using Exchange or stand alone PST?
A screenshot would be helpful
Have you tried creating a new profile and seeing if it disappears?
Another PC (if Exchange used) to see if it continues
