I am using the following line in a logon script to map a network drive:
net use r: \server1production /persistent:no

When the user accesses the drive they see it as:
production on ‘server1’ ( R: )

Is there any way to map it so only R: will show up, and not the entire share name?

Many thanks.

Hi,

Select the Drive and rename it. To do it programmatic-ally need to add some logic in the script to rename the volume.
If you can share your logon script, will try to make changes in it
