    Does anybody have a recommendation for a good network sniffer that can analyze the network and generate a good reports?

    real time reports of the stations/ip`s that generates the most traffic
    what ports they use.
    what is the destination
    what are the current connection
    things like that

    you can use Wireshark but i dont think it will be so user friendly like you need…

    I have used both ethereal and ettercap, again not very user friendly to windows machines…

    with two votes for wireshark i had to check it out, only to find that wireshark is the new ethereal :oops:…..

    a very good sniffer
