Every time I boot up, I get a message which says:

    CD Recording Software
    Roxio, Inc.
    Issue Description:
A CD-recording driver is installed that might cause stability problems,
including problems shutting down and problems using a CD/DVD drive. This
    driver will be disabled.
This driver might have been installed by Easy CD Creator, Windows Media
Player or RealJukebox. You might not be able to record CDs until you obtain
    compatible drivers.

It then refers me to Roxio, WindMed Player, and RealJukebox sites to update.
But I have no Roxio programs installed, and I cannot find any such
CD-recording driver on my system. How can I find the culprit driver and
    delete it??

    Thanks for the help!

    Re: Mystery CD Driver….

I googled the term “A CD-recording driver is installed that might cause stability problems” and came up with some interesting threads. I was eventually lead to this Microsoft KB article. Take a look at the Google results and at the KB article and see what you think. The KB article does require editing the registry so take the necessary precautions.
