    Hi All,

    Situation :
    SBS 2003 Standard server.
    User X, mailbox [email protected]
    Contact Y, e-mail address [email protected]
    All mail to [email protected] is forwarded to contact Y, and kept in mailbox of user X.

    All e-mail to [email protected] arrives in the mailbox of user X and the mailbox of contact Y, except a weekly newsletter from a specific address ([email protected]).

    That weekly newsletter from a specific address does arrive at the mailbox of user X, but does not arrive at contact Y.
    When I look at the queues, I see that the Small Business SMTP connector has 1 message and it keeps retrying.

    I use the SMTP server of my provider as smarthost.

    Can this be because domain info.bol.com does not exist ?
    And can I solve this ?

    Most likely your ISP is rejecting the message because it looks like spoofing. Your server is not responsible for that domain and due to the way that Exchange forwards the messages it can look like it was spoofing.

    Automatic email forwarding will almost certainly not be possible in years to come because it looks like spoofing and more and more sites will block spoofed messages as an antispam measure.

    Short answer is – no there is nothing you can do about it if you have to use the ISPs smart host.

    But if it was a spoofing issue, all mail from other domains would be blocked, and that is not the case.

    Not necessarily.
    For spoofing measures to be effective the domain that is sending the email has to have certain settings in place to stop their domain from being spoofed.

    Ultimately it is completely out of your control, because the message originates on a server you do not control and is being delivered to another server that is out of your control.
