    Isa server uses to be our proxy/firewall for our network. a few days ago we gain a nice new great firewall for our network.

    only sins then i got repeatly error 14120 with every webrequest.
    so my eventlog becomes use with this red crosses.

    error is:

    Event Category: None

    Time: 16:17:58

    Computer: ISASRV
    The ISA Server services cannot create a packet filter This event occurs when there is a conflict between the Local Address Table (LAT) configuration and the Windows 2000 routing table. Check the routing table and the LAT to find the source of the conflict.

    well, i know that isaserver which is installed in integrated mode need 2 nic’s to loose this error.

    now we want to reinstall this machine (acually i want to install isa on a other machine because this machine is to big for my racks) and change it to cache only.

    i will loose this error (according the documents) but what kind of functionally will i loose either??????????

    anyone who can tell me that?





    i can only guess , never encountered this type of error
