You cannot see the USB printer from within the virtual machine. None of Microsoft’s virtualization solutions supports USB connections.
1) share the printer on the host and install it on the virtual machine as a network printer;
2) use a PDF printer (like Bullzip, it’s free) to print to a PDF file and then move it to the host for printing;
3) use other virtualization solution (less recomended – you will use ther advantage of using the VHD files).
