    Hi all

Started at a new company and they have IBM servers.

Being a HP boy I am trying to install the utilities to allow management.

I was wondered if someone could tell me the difference between ServeRaid and MegaRaid.

I see this software discussed a lot and I assumed it was just based on which controller you had but after further investigation I am unsure.

    Any help greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

Well it seems to be true that it’s based on the controller

yeah I found this and I can only assume that it looks like Serveraid is used for older controllers as all my controllers are listed under megaraid manager.

I just wanted to be sure thanks for your help :)
