I have a VHD attached to hyper-v but the OS on the VHD does not boot. Several attempts to repair the OS from disk using x:sourcesrecoveryStartRep.exe did not work either. The disk is windows server 2008 r2 dvd is ok since we use it to install OS on new VMs on the same host as this VHD. The VHD contains SAP apps that we do not want to lose. Please I need help from people in this forum.
The best option at the moment seems like restoring from your backups.
If this VHD IS your backup, then run up a new virtual machine, mount this VHD as an additional drive, reinstall your SAP application and migrate data and configuration.
Setup your new VM as close as possible to the old (IP adderss, hostname, etc)
