    Hello

We have an issue that has been bugging us for a while now. We are having our UPS replaced and we have had a couple of power cuts over the last month (our campus is rural) and both times we have had a random server that will create a checkpoint after the servers power back on. It appears to be some kind of setting that automatically creates a checkpoint on a crash. Nobody else seems to be having this issue and there is no setting for this. What causes this and how do we disable this?

It’s something other than the power failure that is causing this. Do you have Hyper-V Replica configured?

Did you find any logs or events in event viewer. Please check under Applications and Service Logs –> Microsoft –> Hyper-V VMMS
