    Re: Hi All

With an MCSE already, you are more of an administrator than most. It sounds as if your employer is seriously undervaluing you.

If you are looking for Windows 2003 experience, the best route is probably using Virtual Server or VMWare (both free AFAIK) to set up a test lab using the widely available evaluation version of Server 2003. Much of your practical experience of Windows 2000 will transfer straight over to 2003 anyway.

    Hi (newcomers say hello here)!

Hi Daniel, and everyone else on here.

I’d like to thank Daniel for always being a great source of knowledge, and I want to thank the members here as a good site is only as good as the quality of its members.

I signed up for an MSCE 2000 course and midway through the course, right about when we were getting to AD, I got into a dispute with my school over the lack of training offered and my enrollment was terminated. I am now suing them. But the good part is that I was able to get into the desktop support and peer-to-peer networking world and was able to make an living.

Please consider me the god of desktop support. If I can be of any help, count on me. In turn I look to you all for the advanced stuff.

Currently, I am looking for help in the areas of SharePoint, and Site-to-Site VPN.

Look for my post in the NEED HELP section.

    Nicolus

    ps

Daniel, regarding your avatar, isn’t that the picture of the house we always see when they show the nuclear blast videos?

Hi to everyone, hope your holiday (U.S.) is safe & sane… what a cool site. You sure make life easier for a girl who struggles with some of the issues addressed within. You’re very much appreciated. I remain yours in gratitude & awe..

Although I just registered for the forums today, your site has been an awesome resource and I’ve been using it for a few months now.

    Hello everyone,

My name is Brian McCann and i’m a Petri.co.il addict. “Hello Brian”

I have enjoyed this site for quite some time and have learned so much from it. In fact Daniel’s site led me to start my own http://www.adminprep.com to help folks out in my own way.

I’m a Directory Services MVP, MCT, and MCSE from NT on to 2003. I currently work for Intel and run their manufacturing AD forest. It is a dream job and I truly enjoy going into work everyday. I have a passion for helping others learn about technology and before Intel I taught for several years.

    To the future,

    Brian

Hello Brian. I wonder how many got the joke? Excellent!!

If you have any spare dual core CPUs that you might find resting on the floor at work I will be more than happy to store them alongside a nice Intel chipset.

    Hi,

I’m James from the UK. I’m hoping to help a few people out here, and hopefully find answers to my own issues when they arise. I specialise in networking, having worked for Linksys and Cisco for a number of years.

Glad to be a member of the community

    Good morning from Greenwich Village!

This is one of the best MS information sites out there and I’m very happy to particpate. In particular – I now have 2 Israeli clients and I’m hoping to figure out the secret to making them (somewhat) satisfied.
