We have created a new server and was about to mount the drives to the new guest. But one of the drives is spanned.

Whats the steps to mount a spanned volume?

I don’t understand what this has to do with a VMware product – sounds more like a procedure you’d carry out in the guest OS to me…

That would be down to Windows, what you’re trying to do is the VM equivalent of moving physical disks between servers, and I don’t know how Windows would handle your volume.

Can you please explain a bit more how your system is actually setup??

Do you currently have 2 VMDK files that have been spanned inside a windows server and you then want to mount them on a new VM??
