    Hello all,

I am going to look at a project in the near future for some of our iPad users to get there exchange email on the ipad like hotmail.

I have looked around and I haven’t seen anything too step by step info on how to get it working.

We are running exchange 2003 enterprise edition. I was wondering if anyone has a good guide or any tips to get it to work including the routing side of things.

    Many thanks,
    Simon

As long as you have OWA and activesync enabled, with a public certificate, it should just be a case of run the Exchange setup wizard on the iPad

Good articles on the main site to help you

    Thank you!

Our OWA doesn’t seem very happy at the moment. I need to troubleshoot why it isn’t working. Any tips on this? I think it’s an IIS issue and needs to be re setup.

How do I go about getting a certificate setup for the ipad side?

    Many thanks,
    Simon

Buy Public Certificate ($80 per year or less) — http://www.godaddy.com or http://www.certificatesforexchange.com
    Install on Exchange Server
    iPad will recognise it

Is it just a case of enabling the user for activesync in AD?

    Thanks,
    Simon
