    In EMC
    Properties — Mail Flow Settings
    Click on Message Delivery Restrictions
Accept messages from Only Senders in the Following List

    Hi

    thanks for the quick replay

so just to be on the safe side

i have a DL called “AllUsers” , that now everyone can send to it
i have created another DL “SendToAll” and entered there only the users that can send to the “AllUsers” DL
change what you wrote me , and this group will be the only one that can send to the “Allusers” DL ?

    thanks

Re: Exchange 2007 send to permissions

Sorry, losing the plot here. I thought YOU wanted to be the only person able to send to the DL?

    What I know works:
Create a mail-enabled group called “SendToAll” (or whatever name you want)
Add users who should have send rights to that

Create another mail-enabled group called “All Users” (or whatever)
Add all users (or selected target users) to that
Change properties of “All Users” (as per my post above) so only “SendToAll” is in the Accept Messages list
