    Hi Guys!

    I’m having a problem with my exchange 2003 (I really think it comes from).

    We have a online application that when you registrer your email, you get an email that says:please click on the link to activate. Fine this email is good. But after, I’m receiving the email that says you account has been activated, but I get this:

    By the way, it works on hotmail, gmail, and another domain we have with exchange 2010

    It isn’t entirely clear what your question is.

    Are you saying that is all the message contains? If so then that looks like clasic interference from an a third party application. AV, antispam etc.

    Well, this is a part of the message.

    After, there is the main message, but I can see all html code.

    I tried to disable my cyberoam AV and AS mail scan, didn’t solve the problem. Normally, our NOD32 shouldn’t scan email going in exchange.

    The problem is that I get most of the email correctly, but not this one.. Only when I get a confirmation for the registration, or confirmation of posting a new ticket. It does work well with hotmail, gmail, etc..

    I just have no idea where to look.

    Disabling is not enough. The product will still have its hooks in the system and can therefore continue to cause damage. You have to remove the product and reboot to ensure that it has been removed.

    Exchange is actually very strict on email formatting, whereas a lot of other products and services are not. That can mean that a malformed message is delivered elsewhere correctly and not to Exchange because the other services are more tolerant. Ultimately something is damaging the message, or the message that is being generated isn’t formatted correctly.

    I doubt very much if this is a fault of Exchange.

    thanks for your reply.

    I thought maybe it was exchange, since the other company, we are working with, and they use our application, have the same setup (Cyberoam router, with AV and AS enable), but they have exchange 2010, and they don’t get that email :confused:

    Comparing the behaviour of Exchange 2010 with Exchange 2003 is not a valid comparison.
    Their SMTP engines are completely different. Exchange 2003 uses the IIS SMTP engine, whereas Exchange 2007 and higher (including 2010) uses its own SMTP engine.
