I currently have two ISP connections hooked up to my ASA 5505, but I’m still somewhat new to this and have an idea that I don’t know if it is possible.

Both connections are currently working as I was able to get access through both of them, but for now I believe it is in a sort of redundant state. I set up an outside and outside2 interface with one having a lower metric than the other. This is letting me get outside access through whichever I set as the lower metric, but I am wanting to have outside access for certain machines through one ISP with other machines going through the other.

Right now it seems that the only way I can differentiate which one to use is through the metric setting, but I want to use both at the same time. Is there any hope?

You could try Policy based routing using the “set next hop”

    access-list 101 permit ip host x.x.x.x any

    route-map internet2 permit 101
    match ip address 101
    set ip next-hop x.x.x.x

ive never done it but worth a shot
