    trying to copy a file *shortcut file to everyone’s desktop in my organization. Would the following work? The problem is we have some win7 and some winxp machines



    copy /y “ S:shared filesABC” “%allusersprofile%desktop”

    using /y so it doesnt keep prompting for over write this file.

    I got it to work using

    copy /y “Sshared drive:ie short cut” “C:UsersAll Usersdesktop”

    we have some machines running xp and others running 7.

    is there a tag to make this command run after a previous command.. because this rely’s on the shared drive to be mapped.
