Quick question…My laptop has been freezing up; Dell has been helping out as much as they can; new parts, -which really has been no help and they really don’t believe me. I’ve reinstalled several times. Does anyone know of a program that monitors what is going in windows xp pro – applications, drivers, etc. and saves a log file.

Your best bet is to turn OFF the Services your not useing. Most Labtops
I’ve setup in the past need some of those services Disabled. And trust me it does make a differance.

    Try http://www.blackviper.com

Look for Sevices pdf. read and do.

I’ve had a computer that froze every now and then, it turned out that it was the display adapter.
