I have an existing Win2K8 R2 Standard RDS farm consisting of an RD Web Access server, RDS Connection Broker and 2x RDS Terminal Servers. All of a sudden, a few weeks ago, my users have been getting a certificate error when clicking on a published application, as such:

The identity of the remote computer cannot be verified.
    Certificate Name: *.MyDomain.com
Certificate Errors: A revocation check could not be performed for the certificate.

My certificate experience if very limited so I am floundering trying to find a solution. Nothing has changed on the servers but not sure what could have changed on the clients, if anything.

So how do I fix this error? The cert seems to be valid until 2033. When I open the cert, the certificate status shows that it is OK?

    Thanks.

PS: This RDS farm was working fine for a year and now all of a sudden…..

Where is your cert being issued from?

That’s a good question which I am not sure about as my cert knowledge is woefull.

I would hazard a guess that its a local cert and its possibly expired and needs updated??
