    Hi!!

I need to update an ASA5510 to version 8.4 this afternoon. The following NAT rules are in the config at this moment. If I have to reconfigure them in the new version, how can I do that?

    nat (inside) 1 S011 255.255.255.255
    nat (inside) 1 S014 255.255.255.255

    and

    nat (outside) 0 access-list outside_nat0_inbound outside
    nat (inside) 0 access-list NONAT

    and

    global (outside) 2 192.168.80.1-192.168.80.254 netmask 255.255.255.0
    global (outside) 1 interface
I have to perform this update in a company, so I can’t make any mistakes. And I don’t want to sit there untill midnight struggling with these rules. I don’t have very much experience.

    Thanks in advance!

Here is the link to the 8.4 configuration guide regarding network object nat with 8.4. I would read through it just so you know how nat works in your ASA. If your still not comfortable I would get a consultant to assist . There are major changes coming into 8.3 and greater.
