I am able to log into my domain with the username and domain.
I do this when I connect via RDP.

I have enabled this user in the Lync Control Panel.
(this all worked fine before, but I re-built my DC/DNC/CA server and now it’s not working)

The error message I’m getting is “Cannot sign in to Lync”
Lync was unable to sign in. Please verify your logon credentials and try again. If the problem continues, please contact your support team.

I’ve turned on Lync Server Logging, and I put it into the u2.txt attachment.

Around line 100, there seem to be error messages.

On line 763 is the 401 Unauthorized message.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Cannot sign in to Lync

Your logs don’t show the login process. It would appear your client is able to find the registrar as you’re getting a prompt for credentials. Presumably this Lync Client is in a different domain though to the Lync Server? As by default Lync will use KerberosSSO presuming you’re internal and in the same domain as the Lync Server.
Is this affecting all users? Or just one user? If using a proxy on the client PC disable and retest. Is the user signing in internally or externally? Can you provide new logs with the complete sign in process. You can use the OCS logging tool on the Front End and get the logs that way or from the client. Either will suffice.

Re: Cannot sign in to Lync

    Thanks for the response.
I went ahead and rebuilt a new Lync Server and the issue is resolved.

Another issue has cropped up, but luckily, I’m past this one.
