    asking this question coz i cannot setup my backup edvice server to talk to the remote client server which is a w2k3 server.

    my backup device is on a win2k and im using veritas ver9.1 the remote client which i want to backup is on w2k3.

    on the setup process everything went smoothly until the stage which I’ve to key in the username, domain.

    I tried using the domain admin password but got and err message say the logon credentials conflicts with blah blah …..

    To answer your question about Win2000/2003 communicating – Yes they can.
