The existing network is windows server 2008 standard of 2 domain controllers.
I have added windows server 2012R2 to the network and want to promote that to a domain controller and transfer all the 5 FSMO roles on one of the 2008 domain controller to the 2012r2.
Once that is done, then I will remove one of the 2008 which held all the 5 roles then the network will be 1 2012R2 and 1 2008 standard .
    Any step by step approach

    The normal way…
    DCPROMO the new box
    Move FSMOs
    Check all OK
    Decommission old 2008 DC
