    I have an issue with AD sync to my Office 365 tenant.

    I have two domains in Office 365 and a single on-prem AD forest. When syncing using AD Connect some of my user accounts receive the incorrect domain name as part of their username. When I try to fix on Office 365, I am prompted that this can only be fixed using the on-prem AD. (Even though the username has the correct domain suffix in AD)

    Any ideas as to how can I manually adjust the suffix ?

    The error message is correct. You need to fix this in the on prem AD.

    What attribute is incorrect? There is no “domain name” attribute but there are domain names in email addresses and the UPN.
