Re: GoDaddy SSL certificate – OK to use with SBS 2003?
Thanks for the reply.
I couldn’t find any SBS 2003 SSL articles (http://blog.sembee.co.uk/?tag=/SSL-Certificates)…?
By external name do you mean portal.domain.co.uk or mail.domain.co.uk?
I watched a TrainSignal video (on Exchange 2003 – not SBS) and following that i now have:
MX record mail -> mail.domain.co.uk
A record mail.domain.co.uk -> External IP
CNAME record portal.domain.co.uk -> mail.domain.co.uk -> External IP
(Changed the A record for portal to a CNAME) – is that better / worse / ok? In the video they then went on to purchase an SSL certificate for the CNAME record…
