  • Nt to Win2000

    Hi,

I have a user who is on Windows NT domain but accesses data from windows 2000 domain as well. He has 3 mapped drives from the win2k domain but when he tries to access them, he has to supply the username and password when he switches his pc in the morning.

I want to make a script and put that in his startup folder so that the username and password is authenticated every morning when he'll turn his pc on. How do I authenticate his username and password in the batch file.

Any examples would be very helpful.

    Thanks guys.

    Amer

how about using NET USE with the user's credentials?
    Code:
    net use x: \\Server1\Share1 /user:W2KDomain\UserName [email protected]
    net use y: \\Server1\Share2 /user:W2KDomain\UserName [email protected]
    net use z: \\Server2\Share3 /user:W2KDomain\UserName [email protected]
