  • Changing from static IP addressing to DHCP

    Hi All,

    Can anyone help me finding a script that change users' TCP/IP configuration from static ip addressing to DHCP "Obtain ip address automatically'.

    put it into a batch file, set is a startup/shutdown script and done.

      thanks, this works but it didn't change to "obtain dns server address automatically"

        It goes through it without having to sort out the syntax.

          I added the two command lines to a batch file & it works well.

            The script ran well under the context of any administrator account, i need it to run under domain users account.

            Plz Advice

              not possible unless running it as a startup/shutdown script.

                I ran it as a startup/shutdown script but it didn't work either.

                    Have you tried googling for alternate credentials
