    Hi there,

    We have recently integrated a Mac server into our network along with 2 iMac suites all of which are running OS X 10.8. To cut a long story short we have had to scrap the idea of students using their network account to log in and create a local account for them to use, which is shared by all students.

    I want a script that when the student runs it, it will ask them for their network username and password, and then for it to take their username to redirect them to their homefolder on our file server. This way we can use a local account for the software but the students will still be able to save work into their user area.

    If this isn't possible is there another way around this? Any ideas or help would be much appreciated!
